Students are holistic beings.  A student affairs professional's
primary responsibility is to meaningfully contribute to the complete development of students.  Throughout their college
careers and beyond, students are working to navigate intellectual, personal, spiritual, social, ethical, and moral developmental
processes.  Student affairs professionals must act as guides for students' journeys.  The administrative demands
of student affairs work must never outweigh the responsibility and privilege of working, growing, and learning with students.

"Education in our times must try to find whatever there is in students that might yearn for completion, and to reconstruct
the learning that would enable them
                                    autonomously to seek that completion."
